Smart people produce creative solutions.

There's a huge difference between a job and a career. That's why Assurance offers many avenues for our employees to expand their knowledge and advance in the workplace. We're proud of the fact that 73% of our employees are currently pursuing professional designations and that each of our employees is committed to bettering themselves. Many Assurance team members have worked their way up in the company, and we encourage this by supporting our lucrative continuing education and development programs.

Formal Training Program

Our Formal Training Program encourages all of our employees to learn the skills they need to succeed as a team member at Assurance. The program includes an organized training schedule featuring one-on-one time with our dedicated training staff. We also provide on-the-job mentoring, support and career path development to aid in our employees' continued success at Assurance.

Assurance managers are encouraged to do whatever it takes to help employees be their very best. Our educational reimbursement program provides monetary assistance towards tuition, course-related books and supplies.

Learning Lunches

Assurance brings instructors from the Insurance School of Chicago and representatives from our larger insurance carriers in-house to teach courses to employees. These Learning Lunches occur monthly and allow employees to keep up with current industry issues, expand their professional knowledge and earn credits towards their insurance designations and licenses.

Advanced Designation Courses

Assurance's in-house advanced continuing education designation courses are unique. We personally seek out and work with instructors who are the best in their field. We have moved away from traditional courses to provide classes that are more flexible to meet the educational needs of our employees.
