Construction Industry Expert Michael DeCaigny Joins Assurance Bringing Over 20 Years of Industry Expertise

SCHAUMBURG, IL (August 30, 2010) - Assurance Agency, Ltd., based in Schaumburg, IL, has announced the addition of Michael DeCaigny. DeCaigny, who will serve clients in the areas of property and casualty and surety, joins Assurance bringing more than 20 years of industry experience. DeCaigny has extensive experience working with construction industry businesses as well as other industry niches across the country. Prior to joining Assurance, DeCaigny served as Managing Director for Willis’ Construction Practice group.

DeCaigny graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor in Business Administration in 1989. He completed his advanced insurance education and earned the designation of Associate in Risk Management (ARM) from the Insurance Institute of American in 2002 and Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) from the International Risk Management Institute in 2005. He acts as Vice Chairman for the Illinois Road & Transportation Builders Association’s Professional Services Committee and is a member of the Chicago Chapter of Construction Financial Management Association.
