Assurance Highlighted by the Sun-Times News Group for "Legendary Parties"
SCHAUMBURG, IL (September 30, 2008) – Assurance, headquartered in Schaumburg, IL, has recently been highlighted by the Sun-Times News Group. Earlier this month they syndicated a story about Assurance and why our employees expect to have a good time when they come to work. "It's not atypical for employees to be called to a ‘meeting’ and then when they arrive at the designated room come to find no meeting at all, just ice cream and music, said 26-year-old Sara Mancini, a client services representative at the company.”
The article went on to highlight other aspects of Assurance including our celebration of Employee Appreciation Week. To top off the week of daily surprises, Assurance hosted a Hawaiian-themed luau at Pheasant Run Resort & Spa in St. Charles, IL this year.
“In addition to its fun environment, the company also places a premium on education. Two-thirds of employees are enrolled in some form of continuing education or advanced designation,” states the Arlington Heights Post. The article noted that anytime an Assurance employee passes a test or receives a new designation, the company celebrates the achievement by presenting them with a $100 bill taped to a balloon. “Fostering a fun, rewarding environment not only keeps our employees happy, but provides them a foundation to provide exceptional service to our clients,” says Vice President, Marketing and Communications, Steven Handmaker.
