Assurance Ranked Among Top 75 Insurance Brokerages

SCHAUMBURG, IL (August 4, 2008) – Assurance Agency, headquartered in Schaumburg, IL, has been named the 74th largest insurance broker of U.S. business by Business Insurance magazine. The company has jumped 8 spots in the ranking since the trade publication’s July, 2007 issue, where they were previously listed as the 82nd largest. Assurance’s revenues, defined as commissions and fees derived directly from insurance services, were calculated by Business Insurance at over $35.6 million for the 2007 business year.

The top 75 ranking comes just after news Assurance was named one of “Chicagoland’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” in July by the National Association for Business Resources. This is the third year in a row Assurance has received this honor. Assurance was also recently named the 9th “Best Place to Work” in Chicagoland by Crain’s Chicago Business and a “Best Place to Work” in Illinois by the Business Ledger.
