Assurance Named 2009 Business Insurance Readers Choice Silver Circle Award Winner

SCHAUMBURG, IL (November 18, 2009) - Assurance Agency Ltd., located in Schaumburg, IL, recently earned Business Insurance magazine’s 2009 Readers Choice Silver Circle Award. Business Insurance’s annual Readers Choice award recognizes its readers’ picks for the best overall commercial insurance industry companies. Assurance was the only IL brokerage to win in its category (retail agents/brokers with annual revenues of $25 - $50 million). This recognition tops off an award-wining year for the company which has received 5 Best Places to Work awards, an Elite Award for excellence in employee education and development and the Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics.

2009 marks the fifth year of the Readers Choice program which was launched in 2005 to let readers vote for the companies that they believe offer the best combination of service, value, quality and innovation. Readers of the news magazine as well as BusinessInsurance.com were invited to cast individual votes on confidential online ballots. Winners were honored at an awards dinner on November 17, 2009 in Chicago, IL.
