ACT Assists Lambs Farm
SCHAUMBURG, IL (June 21, 2010) - Assurance Agency Ltd., located in Schaumburg, IL, held an Assurance Caring Together (ACT) volunteer event at Lambs Farm in Libertyville, IL on Wednesday June 17, 2010. Assurance volunteers assisted Lambs Farm (www.lambsfarm.org) by priming and painting fences in the farm yard area. The company also provided a monetary contribution to cover the cost of paint and supplies. Assurance employee Joelle Dalke said, “This was by far one of my best volunteering experiences.”
Lambs Farm is an organization serving adults with developmental disabilities by providing opportunities to advance in all areas of life through residential, vocational, and recreational choices. Assurance has 15 volunteer events planned for this year to accommodate volunteer time for over 200 employees.
