Assurance University Reviews Healthcare Reform
SCHAUMBURG, IL (August 13, 2010) - Assurance Agency, based in Schaumburg, IL, is offering an educational seminar titled “Healthcare Reform and its Impact on Staffing Firms”. The seminar will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Schaumburg, IL and is designed for Human Resources business leaders and CEOs of staffing companies, regardless of size.
This seminar will inform professionals about the recent Healthcare Reform changes that will directly affect staffing firms. Although most of the law’s provisions do not become effective until 2014, firms need to start planning now for implementation. Attendees will also discover what the American Staffing Association (ASA) and its business allies are doing to mitigate the impact on employers of part-time, temporary, and seasonal employees. In addition, speaker Ed Lenz, ASA General Counsel, will review new employer tax penalties and how they will impact firms with employees receiving government subsidies.
Professionals interested in attending can sign up via the Assurance website at www.assuranceagency.com/seminars or by calling 847.463.7171. Space is limited and registration is required. Participants are encouraged to sign up immediately for admittance.
