New Assurance University Seminar to Hammer Down Details Regarding Contractual Insurance Requirements for Construction Companies

Schaumburg, IL (January 12, 2012) - Assurance University, a continuing education program presented by a “Top 50” insurance broker, will host a seminar for construction professionals titled “Hammer Down Details Regarding Contractual Insurance Requirements and Certificate Compliance”. In preparation for the upcoming construction season, companies must learn different ways to protect their interests and effectively transfer risk while satisfying complicated insurance and indemnity requirements in new contractual relationships. As a result, Assurance University will present a three hour seminar educating attendees on how to review contractual insurance requirements and confirm insurance certificate compliance.

The seminar is scheduled for Wednesday, February 1, 2012 with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. CST. The presentation will be conducted from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. CST at One Century Centre in Schaumburg, IL.

During the construction contracts seminar, attendees will examine insurance indemnity requirements and how coverage forms offer or restrict coverage in a commercial policy, as well as learn ways to minimize the amount of time spent on reviewing documents and evidencing insurance. Furthermore, construction professionals will discover what a compliance review entails and the requirements for direct contracting relationships versus those required by written contract.
