Insurance 101 Offered Through a New Assurance University Webinar for Emerging Businesses
Schaumburg, IL (June 4, 2012) - Contemplating and understanding insurance needs is not the most glamorous or fun aspect of running a business; therefore, Assurance University is hosting a new webinar series throughout 2012 that will provide an introduction to insurance and other related topics that are important to consider when starting or growing a small business. During the initial 30-minute webinar, Assurance University will educate and enhance a business owner’s understanding of basic coverage needs, the role of an insurance advisor and any designated responsibilities.
The first webinar titled “Introduction to Insurance for Emerging Businesses” will be held Wednesday, June 20 from 12-12:30 p.m. CDT.
Presenter Talicia Bashford (Client Services Director, Assurance) will explain which types of coverages should be reviewed annually and explore additional types of coverage to consider as you grow. Furthermore, Talicia will describe your insurance related responsibilities as a business owner, as well as the role of and how to choose an insurance advisor.
