Assurance University to Conduct Workers' Compensation Seminar in March

Schaumburg, IL (February 14, 2012) - Assurance University, a continuing education program for business professionals, will host a seminar titled “Workers’ Compensation: Back to Basics”. Because workers’ compensation can be such a large cost driver for businesses, the seminar will explore ways to minimize the loss component of your WC policy to achieve the largest long-term impact on premium reductions. Besides earning continuing education credits through various associations, you’ll also gain an understanding of which company attributes are desirable to an insurance carrier and how the use of early intervention case management can further reduce costs.

The seminar, presented by Assurance University, is scheduled for Wednesday, March 14, 2012 with registration beginning at 8 a.m. CST. The workers’ compensation presentation will be conducted from 8:30–11:30 a.m. CST at One Century Centre in Schaumburg, IL.

Within a short period of time, attendees will discover how an Experience Modification Factor is calculated and its effects on insurance premiums. The seminar will similarly explore effective marketing strategies for obtaining the most competitive quotes from insurance carriers, as well as submission process techniques that ensure your company’s type of business is understood and your premium is priced appropriately.
