	Voted a Top Overall Brokerage Assurance earned Business Insurance magazine’s “Readers Choice Silver Circle Award”, which recognizes its readers’ picks for the best overall commercial insurance industry companies. We were the only IL brokerage to win in our category.
	Employee Engagement Leads to Success Assurance was named the only Illinois-based insurance brokerage to qualify for Business Insurance's “Best Places to Work in Insurance” list. As the insurance industry’s first national ranking for workplace excellence, 19 insurance brokerages and 14 insurance carriers made the list.
	Recognized for our Marketplace Ethics Assurance received the "Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics" from the Better Business Bureau. This award spotlights companies that exemplify ethical business practices. The 2009 competition had more than 1,800 entries, with only 5 category winners and 3 honorable mentions.
	Crain's Calls Assurance the Place to Be Assurance was named by Crain’s Chicago Business as one of the top 10 “Best Places to Work” in Chicago. This year we ranked number 8 on the list which included companies such as Google and McDonald’s. More than 250 companies were evaluated for this honor.
	We're the Best and Brightest Assurance was named one of Chicagoland’s “101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” as well as an Elite Winner for excellence in employee education and development. The annual competition honors companies that recognize employees as their greatest asset.
