What Minimizing risk and maximizing health means to me
Helping businesses reduce their employee’s exposure to harm, loss or injury, which will then improve their health and wellbeing.
How does your specific job at Assurance contribute to minimizing risk and maximizing health?
My main responsibility is to equip clients and business partners with educational materials explaining how to reduce exposures and improve the health of employees.
What is your work-related philosophy?
I believe the original quote is from a German Playwright, but it goes something like this: “Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do.”
In your role, how do you credibly calculate savings for your clients?
I look for various ways to communicate the different approaches our ‘A’ Team takes to generate savings for their clients. I also measure the impact of our campaigns, marketing platforms and educational resources.
What are your greatest accomplishments at Assurance or in the industry thus far?
I was named Assurance’s 2014 Employee of the Year. Considering I work with 400 bright and motivated insurance professionals, it was an extremely humbling honor. I was also recently included in LifeHealthPro.com’s 30 Under 30 list - it’s always wonderful when organizations/publications recognize the impact a marketing professional can have in the insurance industry.
