    The Account Executive is a thought leader in the industry and client niches he or she serves, and understands the overall business risks, financial implications, and employee health issues important to clients.  He or she directly quarterbacks the service execution for clients within his or her own discipline.  Working with a team of support and service personnel, the Account Executive builds a client base by adding new clients, new lines of coverage, and retaining and growing current clients.  An effective negotiator, presenter, motivator, and relationship builder, the Account Executive leverages Assurance’s sales methodologies, tools and resources, service platform, and best practices to successfully manage a growing client base.

    The Account Manager is at the center of ensuring the successful delivery of exceptional service to our clients. Working with the Producer and/or Account Executive, he or she plans, executes, and tracks a customized service plan for each client. The Account Manager builds effective, personalized working relationships with clients and prospective clients, learning their risk and insurance program needs. He or she engages the full service team and resources as appropriate to create measurable value and efficiencies in our clients’ businesses. The Account Manager also has an understanding of the marketplace and industry, and uses that expertise in placing coverage and negotiating terms and conditions on behalf of clients. Managing the proposal and renewal processes, the Account Manager supports clients in reviewing coverage and program options and understanding associated details. The Account Manager oversees the accuracy of client information in our agency management system, facilitating a collaborative service experience and empowering our client portal.

    Account Managers at Assurance ensure each project and client service deliverable is executed flawlessly. He or she has the knowledge, drive and ability to manage a book of business and consult with our clients to effectively manage their risk. Account managers are integral in our client retention by working with the service team to execute our client service platform created for each insured and build effective working relationships with our clients and prospects. Account Managers have an understanding of the marketplace and take initiative to keep on top of the ever-changing world of insurance. They share market knowledge at team meetings, identify business process improvements to help create efficiencies, and enthusiastically engage in our culture. Account Managers on the Select team will focus on small commercial accounts.

  • Claims Advocate - Property & Casualty (Chicago/ Schaumburg, IL)

    The Claims Advocate assists property and casualty clients navigate the insurance claims process, with a particular focus on bringing claims to a resolution while protecting the client’s best interest. He or she provides exceptional client service by educating clients on best practices in advanced claim management on a consistent basis. The Claims Advocate also serves as an internal resource for other service team members on complex claims and coverage situations. This role creates value by minimizing the risk and maximizing the health for clients.

  • Client Service Representative - Employee Benefits (Schaumburg, IL)

    The Client Service Representative (CSR) is the oil that makes our exceptional client service machine run smoothly.  He or she performs transactions and tasks essential to managing efficient insurance, benefit, and/or risk management programs.  The CSR executes policy and plan changes, provides evidence of insurance, and helps create proposals that exhibit complex programs in more easily understood and comparative formats for our clients.  He or she assists in keeping our client information up to date in our agency management system, facilitating a collaborative service experience and empowering our client portal.  The CSR works closely with the full account servicing team to answer questions, access and deploy resources, place coverage, and negotiate terms and conditions on behalf of clients.

  • Client Service Representative - Property & Casualty (Chicago/Schaumburg, IL)

  • Construction Safety Advocate (Chicago, Schaumburg, IL)

    The Safety Advocate applies his or her risk management expertise to promote and improve Assurance clients’ safety culture through on-site safety inspections, written safety programs and safety training presentations. The Safety Advocate works directly with clients to assess and mitigate their safety risks and exposure through preventive, pro-active policies and procedures.

  • Director, Alternative Risk Programs (Chicago/Schaumburg, IL)

    The Director, Alternative Risk Programs provides leadership and management to the Alternative Risk team to achieve defined and agency goals. He or she serves as an expert in the Alternative Risk field; ensure proper team processes and procedures are in place; interfaces with P&C production team members, clients and prospects; engages in relationship building with members and outside service providers on current/prospective programs; and promotes and provides continued education for production and service staff. The Director, Alternative Risk Programs works with P&C production teams to analyze, create and present potential Alternative Risk structure offerings to clients and prospects.

  • Healthcare Safety Advocate (Chicago, Schaumburg, IL)

    The Healthcare Safety Advocate applies his or her risk management expertise to promote and improve clients’ safety culture through on-site safety inspections, written healthcare safety programs and healthcare safety training presentations. He or she works directly with clients to assess and mitigate their safety risks and exposure through preventive, pro-active policies and procedures.  The Healthcare Safety Advocate focuses on both workers’ compensation and professional liability.

  • Insurance Internship Program (Schaumburg, IL)

    The Insurance Intern plays a critical support role with executing our service platform.  He or she develops the knowledge and skills needed to deliver strong customer service by gaining hands-on experience and providing front line assistance to members of an Assurance team.  Under supervision of a manager and/or mentor, interns are given the training and guidance needed to successfully complete the program.  The program is designed to strengthen technical, professional, and interpersonal skills necessary for both career advancement and professional development.

  • Insurance Support Coordinator (Chicago/Schaumburg, IL)

    The Insurance Support Coordinator (ISC) is the entry point of our agency, providing centralized administrative and reception support to the company.  Through a rigorous professional development experience, the ISC learns the concepts of insurance, how to work in an office environment and handle various projects that ease the work burden for other employees.  He or she serves as the director of first impressions to our clients, prospects, potential new hires, carriers and other business partners by managing the reception desks at respective office locations.  As such, the ISC ensures professional, helpful, friendly and courteous interactions, whether on phone or face to face.

  • IT Service Desk Specialist (Schaumburg, IL)

    The IT Service Desk Specialist provides the front line technical support to all employee users. He or she is a personable team player who takes requests via the online ticketing system, employees calling in, or questions emailed to the team. The IT Service Desk Specialist is able to provide exceptional desk side customer service and deliver accurate resolutions in a timely manner. This role adds value to the organization by resolving technological obstacles that allow employees to minimize risk and maximize health.

  • Marketing Communications Specialist (Chicago/Schaumburg, IL)

    The Marketing Communications Specialist role supports our corporate marketing efforts as well as specific production teams in their multi-faceted efforts to nurture and develop engaged leads in targeted industry segments. He or she works directly with other members of the marketing and communications team to ensure all projects adhere to departmental standards and support brand integrity, message consistency and communication efficiency.

  • Marketing Technology Analyst (Chicago/Schaumburg, IL)

    The Marketing Technology Analyst’s role will support Assurance’s digital marketing efforts in the areas of campaign management, data management and reporting.  This role will work closely with other members of the marketing team to ensure our CRM database is continually accurate and populated along with creating and implementing marketing campaigns across a variety of digital mediums in effort to nurture and develop engaged leads in targeted audience segments.
