Schaumburg, IL (September 18, 2012) – On September 25, 2012, Assurance CEO Tony Chimino will be participating in a panel discussion on human resource strategies for becoming a Best Place to Work. The panel is part of a day-long event hosted by the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) of Chicago at the Doubletree Hotel in Oak Brook, Illinois. Tony will be one of six expert panelists from various industries discussing how to transform a company into a top employer, as well as the techniques used to attract good employees and keep them motivated, energized, happy and loyal.

In 2011, Assurance was ranked a top workplace five separate times and saw 16.11% growth, making it only one of nine insurance brokerages in the Top 100 list to grow by more than 15%. Additionally, the independent brokerage earned 1,200 new clients and was named a Top 50 Generation Y Employer by Brill Street & Company. For 2012, Assurance has already secured Best Place to Work recognitions from The Daily Herald, Business Insurance magazine and National Association for Business Resources. Tony will use these recent successes as a catalyst for the different strategies hiring managers and executives can use to develop new employee enrichment programs and become recognized as an award-winning employer.

"CFMA is putting on a great program where attendees will hear a diverse set of ideas and best practices within a number of industries,” noted Chimino. He continued, "I'm looking forward to sharing Assurance's long-term vision and success story to help other companies realize the value that investing in employees brings to the culture and growth of an organization.”
