The Top Workplaces 2017 event was emceed by the host of storytelling podcast Backseat Rider, Anthony Ponce, and featured Chicago Cubs Executive Chairman Tom Ricketts as keynote speaker. Companies were selected by employee surveys conducted by Energage, formerly WorkplaceDynamics, that measured key qualities such as company leadership, communication, career opportunities, working environment, managerial skills, pay and benefits.
