Schaumburg, Ill. (March 12, 2018) – Rob Marcocchio, principal at Assurance, has received the Torchbearer of the Year Award for 2018 from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Chicago and Northern Illinois.
The presentation of the award was at BBB’s 91st Annual Dinner Meeting on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the Swissotel Chicago. Rob accepted the award in front of nearly 800 attendees.
This is the highest award that the BBB makes annually to an individual for exemplary service to the community. This award recognizes consistent and dedicated support of the BBB and Rob’s ongoing efforts to educate both consumers and businesses concerning the importance of an ethical marketplace. Previous honorees include: Attorney General Lisa Madigan, Leo Burnett, Robert Abt, Attorney General Jim Ryan and Governor Jim Thompson.
