Who: Assurance employees spent a rewarding paid day off volunteering with Coat Angels to ensure students are warm this winter. Coat Angels is a nonprofit that has helped keep over 4,000 Chicago children warm by distributing coats, fleeces, hats and gloves every winter since their establishment in 2006.
What: Assurance staff spent the day fitting 226 students with brand new winter coats, fleeces, hats and gloves.

All volunteer days are organized by the company’s employee-driven charitable foundation, Assurance Caring Together (ACT). Assurance employees have donated over 20,000 labor hours in the last 12 years through ACT.
