Who: Assurance employees spent their Thursday volunteering for a noble cause at GiGi’s Playhouse. The nonprofit is the only nationwide network of Down syndrome achievement centers. GiGi’s Playhouse provides free, results-driven programs for individuals with Down syndrome, their families and the community.
What: Assurance staff spent the day setting-up, running and taking down stations for GiGi’s End of Summer Bash for over 40 students and their families, which included:
- Tie-dying t-shirts
- Face painting
- Hair coloring
- Giving temporary tattoos
- Facilitating arts and crafts
- Running a bubbles station
GiGi’s Playhouse was extremely thankful for Assurance’s help. Without volunteers, GiGi’s wouldn’t have been able to put on the event.
